Board Layout Suggestion

Post by HansHill »

New suggestion: Place the "debate" board further down the page, perhaps underneath the "History" section - maybe in its own "Debate" section, with one debate board.

Rationale: HolocaustAcademy recently created a new topic about the inaugural summit 2026, and before long it had descended into utter dogsh#t.

Impact: The regular posters will know where it is, and will return diligently to debate in our favourite threads, while newcomers / lurkers wont be bonked over the head with dogsh#t, so any impact to traffic to that forum should be minimal, while keeping the more curated & high quality boards & threads firmly in the high-value real estate section of the board index.

The intention and mission of a certain poster is precisely to cause the descent of the entire forum into dogsh#t.

So… Another solution would be to 1.) first recognise and acknowledge this, and 2.) discourage such trolling by removing deliberate disruption (dogsh#t) to the pre-existing ‘junk’ section of the board. (Junk Folder for Derails)

That inaugural summit 2026 is a good example of a.) the problem and b.) the simple solution.
It would be extremely easy to ‘clean’ that topic-thread of the dogsh#t.
Plus it is an excellent example of a thread that is crying out for such simple house-cleaning.
A ‘holocaust’ believer’s problem is not technical, factual, empirical or archeological — their problem is psychological.
