I thought it would be easy to find on this site. I thought there would be a section solely devoted to well researched books - where are they?

Well, on this site we have the beginner's guide which points the reader to a number of introductory books and articles.

However these are focused on Holocaust revisionism. Since you are posting this to this section of the forum, I assume you mean you are looking for a bibliography on WWII more generally? Any topic in particular? WWII is pretty broad. Many revisionist books focus on a particular topic (e.g. Pearl Harbor).
Ron Unz has a long WWII article that is essentially a very extended annotated bibliography.

Imo, there is no reason to limit yourself strictly to "revisionist" books on WWII. There will be a lot of info in general books even if you disagree with certain assumptions.
