I'm not justifying firebombing but I think you can understand why somebody might want to do that. How do you sue somebody for a retraction and airtime? That you justify firebombing with 'he said hurtful things' is unsettling and revealing.
The historicity of the Holocaust has already been litigated. The most famous case is the example with David Irving but there were others too.
