He probably stayed in Italy, the head of the Abwehr did, along with many others. The whole story of his "escape and capture" seems so made up and nonsensical as some Spanish, Arab, and Argentine press pointed towards. (I'll post some clippets later)

They probably never got eichmann, it was an actor, that literally made the whole thing up. They got a dude from nürnberg at the trial! And we have no evidence nor documentation but very contradictory and nonsensical claims about his "execution"

Eichmann did claim a death toll of >10,000,000 at Auschwitz and that a Soviet submarine engine was used to murder people in a 'peasant hovel' at Treblinka. Along with fountains and rivers of blood.
