Agreed. I would now want detailed study of how it was possible to get the mass false confessions, fake the trials, to silence millions who knew that millions of Jews survived the war, how archaeologists were persuaded to fake finds at the AR camps and Chelmno and how historians and journalists could write so many false histories. I would also want to know how it was possible to get so many post war political parties, of so many political persuasions, to support the Holocaust narrative.

The ramifications would be massive and affect millions of people. It would politically destroy Israel as a country, but many more countries would have politicians who would have a lot of questions to answer. I suspect it would also destroy Judaism as a religion, as the hate generated would drive its adherents either underground or to totally reject religion.

If the Holocaust was found to be a hoax, those genuinely interested in history, criminal investigations and hoaxes would have a field day with the study of what happened, whereas Holocaust deniers would use it to destroy Israel and Judaism.

The term Holocaust is a designation for the catastrophic losses suffered by the Jews of Europe (and, to a far lesser extent, in North Africa) as a result of actions taken by the government of Germany or its allies between 1933 and 1945.
