The dramatic events in Treblinka can be reconstructed almost entirely thanks to the "worthy" research of Donath, Rückerl, Lanzmann, Grossmann and Steiner, as well as information obtained on the Düsseldorf and Jerusalem courts.
While building the largest camp in the industrial zone, the Nazis were building another one in a gloomy wasteland - the second largest (Grossmann). The trains to Treblinka, carrying those doomed to death, were no secret to the population, although they did not really believe everything. Up to 10 thousand (Auerbach), and even 20 thousand people (Grossmann) were sent to the gas chambers daily. The work of the executioners was carried out by 35-40 SS men, who were assisted by Ukrainians and 500-1,000 Jewish workers. Although the latter certainly knew that sooner or later they themselves would end up in the gas chamber, it never occurred to them to attack 35-40 SS men with their whips; they helped them in the mass murder of their fellow believers, who marched naked in formation to the gas chambers (Sukhomel), or rather did not march, but ran along the "gut". The SS men beat them on the head and stomach (Auerbach), and Demyanuk cut off their ears (trial in Jerusalem). On both sides of the "Ascension Alley" or "road to heaven" stood SS dogs under the command of the St. Bernard Barry and bit off pieces of flesh from the bodies of those running (Goldfarb); Barry bit the genitals, reflecting the subconscious of the owner and anticipating his desires (Prof. L. from the Planck Institute). Additional troubles for the unfortunate were caused by such humanoid creatures as Zepf, who from time to time snatched a child from the crowd and tore it apart over himself (Grossman). All this was accompanied by the sounds of a Jewish orchestra (Auerbach). Then the Jews were pushed into the gas chamber. The men waited outside, and the women and children went first, and the children were not thrown into the fire alive, because their fragile vessels did not succumb to gas and bullets (Auerbach).
Seeing all this, the Jewish women driven into the gas chamber, one would think, should have developed doubts, especially since Demyanuk had just cut off their breasts with his sword? Not at all: they behaved stupidly submissively and asked Bomba, who was on duty in the chamber, what would happen to them. Bomba could not tell the truth, otherwise he would have gone into the chamber himself. For this reason, he cut their hair in the usual manner, and not bald - the deception had to last as long as possible.
According to Bomba, the gas chamber measuring 4 by 4 meters contained 17 hairdressers, benches and 70 naked women. It was quite cramped, especially since there were 11,913 more people waiting in a building that could hold up to 12,000 (E. Rosenberg). At the command: "Ivan, water!" Demyanuk turned on the engine of the Russian tank. In 30-40 minutes, everyone was dead (Rückerl). Then the corpses were burned, i.e. they were buried at first, but then they were dug up by Fioss, who believed that the old corpses of fat women burned especially well (Steiner).
During the burning, the stomachs of pregnant women burst, so you could see the embryos burning in the mother's womb (Wernik). At this time, the Germans clinked glasses of exquisite drinks and sang disgusting songs about eternal Germany (Steiner). The Jewish workers felt less well, being angry with Demianuk for nailing their ears to the wall (Wernik). Remembering this injustice, they consoled themselves by enjoying fried chicken, buns, cheese, butter and sour cream – these delicacies the Jews could get without difficulty, because they had no end of money (Krzeszczki).
As you can see, this is a very reliable and scientifically proven story.
