Why bomb the rails instead of the Kremas? Other than the Kremas being danger close to the water treatment and the women's barracks, no good reason comes to mind.

Good point. However, Believers try to "explain away" the lack of intentional Allied bombing by claiming
Churchill did not want to jeopardize the lives of Jewish inmates.

They didn't seem so shy with firebombing cities, but, I do take your point.

That said, I was only and specifically highlighting bombing the rails.
