Thanks Hans, for linking the 15/16th April '46 interrogation.

I must remark that he doesn't mention removal of his eye, or prosthesis, only that his wreck left him sightless in one eye.(and also discharged with no severance and unemployed)

Regarding the rest, this is after his story had become somewhat streamlined and brought to accord with what was going to be the written record.

I don't suppose you have the earlier stuff laying around?

Much appreciated. The testimonies seem... different... I guess time in a cage with random beatings, being denied food, and the occasional 'helpful reminder' will do that, eh? Good thing they 'finally got the truth out of him', like they did with Hoess...
