Auschwitz, The Comedy

In this video from Dean Irebodd, he covers a lot of the most blatant problems with the proposition of homicidal gassings at Auschwitz Birkenau.

He covers the lift, the muffles, the throughput of the furnaces etc.

Yes, your right ear is going to be jealous. I can't do anything about that. All I can do is present this media as it is.

There are a lot of mistakes in this video.

Crematoria II and III each had underground gas chambers that could hold approximately 1,000 to 2,000 people at a time.

Each crematorium (II and III) had five triple-muffle ovens (15 muffles total), each muffle able to cremate 2 to 3 bodies at a time in practice, though often more were forced in under pressure.

One body took ~30–45 minutes but if you did 2-4 bodies together, it reduced time slightly due to shared body fat fueling the fire. However, overloading the ovens caused frequent breakdowns and slowdowns.

Operating 24/7 (as they often did), each crematorium could process ~1,000–1,500 bodies/day.

My my, did you not watch it?

Regarding the ovens, we have a thread on the forum, I will edit this post and add it. It is also covered in the video.

Regarding the gas chamber capacity, it is addressed in the film.

Regarding cremation times, we have a thread.

Regarding your estimate of daily throughput, you are wrong, for reasons that are described in the video and also in the various threads.

In short, you can not cremate 1 body in 15 minutes, what's less 2 or more, some claim as many as 8. There is also the upkeep (fuel) and maintenance (refractory replacement for example) to consider. These are hard facts, laws if you will. You can not hand wave them away.
